Sound Dimension--Jamaica Soul Shake

"Full Up" mp3
As warmer weather slowly starts to become a regular, I normally will adjust accordingly. Musically, that is. Any beach/poolside tunes that enhance the day and match the gooey blender drink do nothing more than complete the equation. I found this album and I couldn't think of a better match. Easy-going, old school reggae to have on in the background. Please make sure your adult beverage is cold while listening.

Here's another review:
Get ready for the funkiest reggae ever to come out of Jamaica! The Sound Dimension were the in-house band at Studio One in the late 1960s and consequently played on more killer hits than….well most bands! In their time between recording hits for The Heptones, Ken Boothe, Alton Ellis and many more, they made killer instrumentals which have influenced Jamaican music ever since. The tracks on this album are a mixture of classic and super-rare tracks and you need to own a copy!
